Q: I had been out in the sun for 4 hours, and it was apparent that night how bad i was burnt. Four days later and It is very painful to move at all, and it is wrinkled as if it was burned by fire. Is this wierd, and how do i soothe it? Thanks!
A: I recommend that you see a doctor. Most sunburns are classified as first degree burns, but once I sunburned so severely that it was bubbled up and when touched clear liquid would run out. I went to the doctor and was told it was a 2nd degree burn. I was put on antibiotics as your skin is your first line of defense against bacterial infections and if it's burned that badly, you could end up with a serious infection. As far as what you can put on it to soothe it, since it's so bad I wouldn't feel comfortable recommending anything. Please see a doctor.
