A: Ok first off the sunburn is not going to be gone asap. Depending on how burnt you were/are, it could take up to over a week for it to fully go away. Being that I have red hair and a light complexion, I am all too familiar with sunburns. I am actually recovering from one right now. I got this sunburn this past sunday and I am still alittle pink and peeling. The best thing I can say is to go purchase some aloe vera and put it on your burns. If for some reason you cant afford to go get it, i know better than anyone that times are really tough right now, make sure that you are putting a hydrating non scented lotion on it. And I know some lotions have glitter and things of that nature, STAY AWAY FROM THEM!!!! That could just irritate it worse. Another thing I will tell you is to drink a lot of water. Your skin is sucking up all your fluids because it is so hot and dry. You may notice that your skin is really tight. Also one more thing, if you are peeling, try not to sit and peel your skin. This can sometime cause scaring if the skin is not totally ready to come off. Just let it come off and maybe use a washcloth really light on it in the shower. Good Luck!
