Q: so I have this red chloraseptic soar throat spray and lists as active ingredient 'phenol....1.4%.' I was reading and found that that phenol is actually poisonous. Also, I just read the directions and it says to spray on affected area and leave there for 15 secs then spit out...but how in the hell do they expect me to do this when I have a freaking soar throat? I don't know about you but I can't just swallow a liquid midway, hold it on the bottom of my throat and then spit it out, is that even humanly possible? your thoughts?

A: haha, I wouldn't use it. I always use Cepacol Throat Spray. Cepacol also makes lozenges, but i absolutely HATE lozenges, so I just use the spray. haha, hope I hepled, and I hope you don't poison yourself ;)
