Q: Shes at the hospital shes been WAITING in the waiting room for hours! I'm real worried if it may be something serious? Should we go somewhere else? I'm worried that the other hospital doesn't have her records? Or do they electronically transfer them? She is 50 years old. Her left leg is numb. It burns....she cant stand on it..severe pain.. These are the symptoms:
A: First, yes the computer has all her information. Now, you have to tell someone that she's in unbearable pain and you want help NOW! Be assertive! Don't give up! That's ridiculous for her to be in the waiting room in such bad pain!! It doesn't sound life-threatening, but tell the nurse she needs help now! Have her moan and groan, if she isn't already.
