Q: I know its probably stupid but I have never had any sort of procedure done. I know its not a huge procedure but I am really scared.Ive never been good with needles or hospitals and I've also never been under anesthetic before. Can anyone tell me what it was like to have their tonsils out? What can I expect? I have 2 small children so if its that painful, I should probably get my partner to stay home with me?
A: the procedure is not bad at all, after pre op its a breeze. once they start anesthetics you will fall asleep almost amedietly and wake up in recovery. the only bad thing is that after you will be in alot of pain. I just had mine removed today and my uvula is really swollen so it is kind of hard to breath, just eat cold thing
