Strange, painful headaches?

Q: Occasionally, I will get odd headaches where it's a horrible throbbing in say, the back left part of my head for a few seconds, then it moves to say, the front right part of my head for a few seconds, then it moves to say, the back right of my head for a few seconds, etc. My physician had no idea what it could be, and I was wondering if anyone here has had similar experience or knows what it could be.

A: Sounds like migraines. I've never heard of them jumping so quickly but the amount of pain you say you get coupled with the headache being on only one side makes me think it is a migraine. Try asking you doctor about migraine pills to treat/prevent your headaches.
