Q: I have a friend that is addicted to methadone, but buys it off the street. Do clinics consider these applicants? Or do they only accept people addicted to other drugs? (Oxycontin, heroin, cocaine, etc.)
A: It doesn't matter where they get it. If they are addicted the treatment center will take them. It's the best thing a person can do is to get clean.
