A: Seems like I read somewhere that some people who had been found near death stranded in the desert had incredibly high body temperatures, but they had to pack them in ice right away before their brain was damaged to death. Sometimes doctors put too much emphasis on reducing fever and that gives the virus or infection a better chance to get worse.
