Q: My sister in law recently passed away from cancer. She was 41, healthy and beautiful. The weeks before she passed she looked so awful, and she was suffering so much. Is there life after death? Were does the spirit go? Feeling sad and confused.
A: It's my belief that our physical bodies are temporary and that our souls are eternal. Real life is only beginning for her because she's free to experience her soul's potential (unlike here). As far as where she went, unless she felt there was something left undone here, she's gone Home. If she hasn't gone Home yet, then it's her choice to remain and she can go at any time. I'm very sorry for your loss.. just remember, though, she's where she wants to be right now. The sorrow when one dies is only the sorrow of the people remaining here...
