A: Our family and friends are the closests to us. Therefore what they say or how they feel about us affects us because we care what they think. We want them to like us and think we are smart. We want them to be proud therefore we do what we can to make them proud and work our ass off and it never seems good enough. We do it because we care same reason they give us a hard time. They affect how we feel about ourselves by the encouragement they give or by the words they use and say to us. It is what they think or how we take what they think that really affects us.
