Q: Recently when I get an itchy or dry throat I cough, and when I cough I also gag, one time I even threw-up. I'm 25 years old and this never happened before, what could be causing this?
A: Hey the same with me! And when I laugh too much or hiccup. Somehow it's triggering of the glasopharangeal nerve (gag reflex) at the back of the throat. Maybe because we tense up when we cough?
