morning after pill/problems with period?

Q: sunday night/monday morning around 2am i had unprotected sex, tuesday morning around 9am i got my period. or so i thought. it only lasted a day. i havent bled at all since tuesday night. i asked yesterday if i should take the morning pill anyway since i had gotten my period and was told no. i still have a few hours to take the morning after pill and i was jsut wondering if i should take it anyway because my period only lasted a day. ive had problems with my period for a few months now it only comes for a day or two and is very light. it didn't come for a month or two at all..i think it was because of my birth control (i took a pregnancy test in the beginning of july and i wasn't pregnant) and then got a regular period that lasted for a few days at the beginning of august. i went off my regular birth control and had to take the morning after pill a few times this month (i know, its bad and i'm not supposed to but it happened and i can't change that. its my fiance, i'm not a whore as someone implied when i asked about taking the plan b after getting my period). i've heard that plan b can mess with your period. so should is there a possibility i'm pregnant? should i still take the morning after pill before the 72 hours run out? i'd only like to do what is neccessary because i really can't afford to waste any money. thank you for any serious advice. its much appreciated.

A: Well if you are really worried you may be pregnant take the pill! You have to realize that if you do not want a baby right now it will cost more and be more painful to have an abortion. You should really consider some other type of BC because taking the plan B should not be your method of BC. Try looking into the marina it's an IUD and it last for 5 yrs, or even plain condoms would help. So if it where me I would take the pill and call my Dr. to get on BC and fast. Good Luck, hope all works out for ya.
