Is it normal to get anemic on your period? IUD?

Q: I suspect I am anemic. The only time I was anemic, was after giving birth to my son. That was 7 years ago. I been having a IUD for 5 years now. My main concern/side effect is I get too many periods, and I bleed heavy. Lately I been feeling strange, drained. So today I looked in my eyes (the pink part, don`t know what it`s called) and usually it is very pink. Today it look near white. I have my period. Is this abnormal? PS Don't tell me go to the Dr. cause I don`t have health insurance, and yes I am another uninsured American. Politics welcome at this time, lol. maybe you can convince me who to vote for. I'm LMAO, as I type this. @Why would I laugh at you? Thanks for the information. I really appreciate it.

A: For some people it is very normal to get anemic on your period. The best thing to do is take an iron pill, that is if it doesn't mess up your stomach because with some women it really hurts their stomach. You can eat liver which is actually the best thing to do but most people don't like it. You can even have it fried or however. Or use black strap molasses in some tea or something everyday will help with your iron problem which causes the anemia problem. I would not use an IUD, switch to the pill, it will be better for your health anyways. As far as your eyes it is normal.
