Q: without the medication? I told my mom and i am going to wait it out, because she said they normally go away on their own. I am 99% sure its a yeast infection, and don't tell me to go to the doctor, because I already know. Please just answer the question... I think it is starting to go away because it is considerably less itchy then it was when i was first itchy
A: Yeast infections can go away on their own but usually it takes longer than what is comfortable to handle. If you don't want to treat it, then it will probably stick around til your period (it pretty much forces it out). But, using tampons will be painful, so I would treat it before it gets to that point.
